We had Max's pics taken when we were in Idaho last month. They all turned out so cute but this is my favorite. Turns out he's a very happy baby. He smiles like this all the time. He's so funright now. He's officially mobil now, he been rolling over for about a week.

My mother in law came down over the weekend to help the kids carve pumkins for Halloween. It was so nice, all the fun but I didn't have to do any of the work!

My new degree

So I talked to my advisor the other day and found out I can finish my second associates degree by this time next year! That's only going part time. Then I'll have to finish up at a university (don't know which one yet) but that should only take another two years. It's about time! Ive been waiting to get this done for 12 years now.

Winter is officially here in Wyoming. It started snowing yesterday and hasn't stopped yet. It's supposed to go until Sunday afternoon. We have about 8 inches so far with more to come. It's only October 11, I want Yerington back! The kids on the other hand are having a blast. Kaylie and Connor wanted to go out at 7:00 this morning but I held them off until 9:00.

Update: I just got back from Oregon and Idaho and it is so nice to be home but now there's so much to catch up on. I really enjoyed spending so much time with my family. It's nice to be able to relax and be myself for a while. The wedding went without a hitch (no pun intended) and the newlyweds seem to be in ignorant bliss, which is the way it should be. I would post some pics but I'm too lazy. I'll leave that up to my sister who is much more diligent at this than I am. I will however post a pic that I already have downloaded. This one is of my mom when she was here after I had Max. The girls talked her into doing her makeup for her but it turned into an all out "draw all over Sweet Mama's face" party.

Kaylie got Max dressed this morning. She is very proud of how coordinated he is (check out the boots).

So today I took Max in to get an "upper GI" Basically it's an e-ray of his throat while he is swallowing. He has had a rattle in his breathing since he was born and the doctor just wants to get a better look at what is going on in there. I hope we get this taken care of soon, cold season is coming and if he gets a cold we could end up in the hospital. Makes me a little nervous.

My beautiful happy boy.

KaShayla requested that I post a few of My family's favorite meals, things that I make on a regurlar basis. So, here it is. A few anyway...
Creamed Taco's (Mom's recipe)
Tacos (easy, quick)
Roasted Chicken
Jambalya (sp?) (can't make it as spicy as
Mama Barnes's of my kids won't eat it)
Shepards Pie
Lasagna (the fast cheaters kind with no
cook noodles and cottage cheese)
Spagetti
Hamburger Stroganoff
Homemade pizza
Potato Cheese Soup (good one for this time of year)
Meatloaf (the Rachel Ray recipe)
Almost anything made with chicken (lots of those recipes)

OK so I haven't updated my blog in about 2 months now so I guess it's time. I'll get everyone updated on what the Gopp family has been up to.

In August we went to Nevada and California on vacation and really had a lot of fun. We got to see a lot of old friends in Yerington and spent quite a bit of time with the Hunts. It was really good to see them. Then we headed west to the coast near San Fransisco.

Kaylie in the beautiful white baptism dress her Grandma Gopp made for her.
Kaylie was baptised a couple of weeks ago. It was all she could talk about in the weeks coming up to it. Here she is with her Dad in their pure whites.
So, I guess everyone else is doing it so I figured I would give it a try. This blogging thing isn't so complicaterd after all. It's kind of fun. And it's something I can do so quickly I can do it anytime. So enjoy the pics and I'll post more as they come.
Tia - 10 years old

Kaylie - 8 years old
Connor - almost 5 years old

This was the easiest photo setting we've ever had. The kids surprisingly did exactly what they were told and these are all first shot pics.
This is just a snapshop we had a friend take last weekend. We needed a family photo taken and this is the best kind... quick and free.
